HLTAID014 – Provide Advanced First Aid
Advanced first aid for higher-risk environments, Canberra ACT
The advanced first aid course for higher-risk workplaces
An advanced first aid course for higher-risk workplaces where a standard qualification may not be enough. HLTAID014 builds on HLTAID011 to prepare you for complex incidents, including multi-casualty scenarios, advanced haemorrhage control and coordinating a first aid response across a worksite.
Some workplaces carry risks that a standard first aid qualification does not fully address. Construction sites, industrial facilities, events, and other higher-risk environments can produce incidents that are more complex, involve multiple casualties, or require a coordinated first aid response across a larger area.
HLTAID014 builds on the HLTAID011 qualification and takes your capability further. You will train in advanced haemorrhage control, multi-casualty triage, spinal management, and the coordination skills needed to lead a first aid response when a situation escalates beyond a single patient.
This course is delivered by emergency service professionals with direct experience in higher risk environments and techniques and shapes how we deliver our courses.
