HLTAID012 – Provide First Aid in an Education and Care Setting
The first aid qualification ACECQA requires. All three approvals in one course. | Canberra, ACT
The childcare first aid course for education and care settings
Childcare first aid and CPR training for educators and workers in early childhood, school and education and care settings. HLTAID012 is the qualification education and care services rely on: everything in HLTAID011 plus child-specific first aid, asthma management and anaphylaxis management.
If you work in childcare, early learning, or early school-age care, this is the first aid course your regulator expects. It covers ACECQA, NQF, and state authority requirements in a single session, so your educators leave with the qualification they need and the compliance your service depends on.
Compliance is only one component of your training. This course is built around the reality of managing a medical emergency in a room full of children. Educators will train in child-specific first aid, learn to manage incidents calmly, and practise the skills that matter most when a child is in distress.
ACTWELL delivers this course with emergency service professionals who understand what it is like to provide care under pressure in environments where children are present.
