The standard workplace first aid course
The workplace first aid course and certificate, Canberra ACT
The nationally recognised standard for workplace first aid. Whether you are getting your first aid certificate for the first time or booking a first aid refresher before your three-year expiry, this course covers CPR, bleeding, burns, choking, fractures, envenomation and more, giving you the skills to respond confidently when it matters.
Most people will face a first aid situation at some point. Whether it happens at work, at home or in public, knowing how to recognise what is happening and respond appropriately can make those first few minutes safer, calmer and more manageable.
HLTAID011 is the nationally recognised first aid qualification for Australian workplaces. It covers CPR, bleeding management, burns, fractures, choking, envenomation, and a range of other emergency scenarios. But the real measure of this course is not the certificate. It is whether you can act when the situation is real.
ACTWELL’s first aid courses are delivered by emergency service professionals whose experience shapes how the course is taught and helps the training feel practical, relevant and easier to retain.
