It is a requirement for all family daycare workers, as well as many childcare workers and school teachers to hold certificates in Frist Aid, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation, Emergency Asthma and Anaphylaxis management. The Childcare First Aid course - Provide an Emergency First Aid Response in an Education and Care Setting HLTAID004 meets all of these requirements. It is approved by the Australian Childrens Education and Care Quality Authority (ACECQA) and it "satisfies all requirements for first aid, anaphylaxis management and emergency asthma training".
We endeavour to get your certificate to you quickly and will email you an electronic copy of your certificate as soon the course has been processed. In case of postal delays we ask that you allow us 7-10 to receive your hard copy certificate.
Yes, our courses are nationally recognised and have exactly the same learning outcomes as other providers. For example our Provide First Aid course (previously known as Senior / Apply First Aid) content is the same as any other recognised first aid provider. You receive the same Unit of Competency qualification on successful completion of the course and the latest version.
Yes, if you provide an email address on your enrolment form you will be issued an electronic copy of your certificate, as well as the hard copy and wallet card.
Yes. Previously, the standard workplace approved first aid course was called Apply First Aid or Senior First Aid. These courses have now been superseded and the national standard is HLTAID003 Provide First Aid.
Yes, upon successful completion, all participants receive a colour A4 certificate on successful completion and a hard plastic wallet card. This qualification is nationally recognised throughout Australia.
